Lyndon Institute is an independent and comprehensive high school offering grades 9-12. The school aims to reach each student to help them discover their individual academic, artistic, technological, and athletic interests and skills. The personal attention the Lydon students receive created an inclusive environment and solid preparation for college and life beyond. Lyndon institute is located in the scenic Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The beautiful 150-acre campus encourages students to spend time outside and explore the natural beauty. Concord, the capital city, is just under 2 hours away. The school’s mission is, “to inspire our students to become accomplished learners, creative thinkers, and compassionate community members.” LI students receive personal attention from devoted faculty. Student Activities
Signature Programs

Lyndon’s indoor track, boys basketball, girls slope-style snowboarding, boys giant slalom alpine skiing, and softball teams were all 2015-16 State Champions.

The field hockey team won the state title, while the boys ice hockey team made it to the finals.

The Latin club earned the Silver Bowl (awarded to the top school in the state) they compete at various events each year including UVM, Harvard, and Yale.

The Lyndon Institute also offers a STEM program.
