Canaan, New Hampshire | High School, 6-9, All-boys | Founded in 1945

Description

Cardigan Mountain School is a day and boarding school for boys grades 6 - 9. Located in Canaan, New Hampshire, the beautiful campus has everything students could want. Cardigan focuses on four core values; compassion, integrity, respect, and courage. Each student leaves Cardigan with each of the core values as part of their own core values. Carrying these values helps shape students' lives.

Cardigan students are eager to learn. Each student gets a comprehensive education that focuses on all aspects of their lives. The focus isn't just intellectual, it’s emotional, social, and physical. This gives students a unique experience. Teachers help the students learn how to form positive relationships with their peers in ways that make their learning and personal experiences meaningful. Cardigan also offers an academic program called PEAKS. PEAKS stands for Personalized Education for the Acquisition of Knowledge and Skills. This program is used to guide students to become the most motivated and efficient learner they can be. These courses help students learn their strengths and weaknesses and build off of them.
